Vision: That the Church lovingly serves those created in the image of God to ensure that pregnancy and childbirth are not a death sentence or detrimental to the health of babies and mothers so that they can experience abundant life. Mission: The Morning Center exists to partner with the local Church to provide prenatal through postpartum care to moms in need, in the name of Jesus. Deliver those who are being taken away to death, And those who are staggering to slaughter, Oh hold them back. If you say, “See, we did not know this,” Does He not consider it who weighs the hearts? And does He not know it who keeps your soul? And will He not render to man according to his work?” Proverb 24:11-12 NASB The Problem: ≈88 innocent children are killed by abortion in the state of Georgia every day Georgia is ranked last of the 48 reporting states for maternal mortality Black females are 3 - 4 times more likely to die as a result of pregnancy or childbirth in GA Georgia is ranked 48th in the nation for percentage of uninsured women The Church is ill-prepared to address issues and respond to the plight that has arisen due to cultural shifts, unjust laws, concentrated disadvantage and other social determinants of health and health disparities that have given rise to a contempt for the sanctity of life The Solution: Utilize Medical Missionaries to share the Gospel with an under-served people group, as led by the Spirit, made possible by not accepting government funds Equip and engage local churches and Christ-followers in local missions and life ministry Encourage patients and their support systems to plug-in to the local church to experience authentic Biblical community and spiritual transformation that leads to multiplication
