About Atlanta Urban Squash, ("A+ Squash")
Our program is built on the three tiers of Academics, Athletics, and Achievements. The ultimate goal of A+ Squash is that every participant graduate high school, be accepted into an institution of higher education and each child is prepared to be a successful adult. A+ Squash is committed to delivering year-round youth development programming that encourages academic, athletic and civic growth-beginning in 4th grade and continuing through high-school and college graduation. Squash is at the heart and core of our programming. We host practices 5 days a week to teach the fundamentals of squash including strategy, strength and conditioning, drills, and a box league. Those skills are then tested on the court during summer leagues and tournaments. The A+ Academics program reinforces students’ current education by offering them a safe place to study, one-on-one tutoring, individualized education plans, test and exam preparation, and discussion, debate, and critical thinking activities.
