About ATMOS | Architecture | Design | Development

Born into a family of architects and builders, architect brother and sister Peter and Joanne Valasis established Atmos Studio in 2014. Exploring design across a wide range of scales and disciplines, Atmos Architecture and Design specialize in master/urban planning, architecture, interiors, product and furniture design, working predominantly in Southern and Western Africa. Our philosophy is about creating an emotional connection to spaces. We aim to capture the emotion of a space and a sense that people feel deeply connected to it, with atmosphere at its heart, creating a dialogue between people and spaces. We don’t believe that our work should be distinctive of our style or trends, but instead design bespoke and unique spaces that draw from and express the essence of our clients and their environments. Our approach is to collaborate closely with our clients. We connect deeply with them, building a relationship and trust, understanding the core of their personal and business ambitions, because we believe that these relationships enable us to truly connect with the essence of who they are and ultimately design a space that is truly reflective of that essence.
