About ATP Construction Composites
La ATP è tra le industrie di compositi più grandi in Europa. La ATP è una società privata, finanziariamente forte, tecnicamente all’avanguardia, ed ha ambiziosi programmi di sviluppo di processo e di mercato. L’inizio attività nel settore dei compositi risale al 1968. Nella seconda parte degli anni ’70 si è iniziata la produzione, con la tecnica dell’avvolgimento (Filament Winding), dei primi serbatoi per uso chimico e per uso alimentare. Tra il 1985 ed il 1990 altre tecniche di produzione quali RTM, pre-forming, iniezione sottovuoto sono state introdotte e sviluppate. Nel 1985 nasce la Joint-Venture con il Gruppo PIRELLI per l’introduzione di una nuova tecnologia di trasformazione dei materiali compositi: la pultrusione. Tra il 1985 e il 1988 un nuovo stabilimento (dove è attualmente collocato il laboratorio di Ricerca e Sviluppo) è stato costruito. Oggi la ATP produce con 14 linee di pultrusione attive su tre turni 24 ore al giorno; alcune di queste linee, come pure attrezzature speciali per post-lavorazione automatiche in linea, sono state progettate e realizzate dal gruppo R&D della ATP.
