At ATtherapy, we believe in building richer lives through communication. Our expert team of speech and language therapists assess, diagnose and provide evidence based therapy for individuals with speech, language and communication and/or swallowing problems to help them communicate to the best of their ability. We have provided speech and language therapy expertise for many years to support people with communication problems and are leading experts in the field of brain injury. We offer a wide range of services to meet clients needs, including: - face-to-face sessions at home, school or workplace / community - dedicated personal therapy plans and robust outcome measures - teletherapy - training and resources We have specialist expertise in the field of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT) alongside motor speech disorders, speech and language impairments associated with brain injury, oral motor skills and eating and drinking and individuals with social and emotional mental health difficulties. We employ an award-winning team of AAC Mentors who inspire and support our clients in using their own technology. The mentors are always happy to share their experiences with individuals, families and schools. Our experienced team of Assistive Technologists are always available to identify innovative solutions to support peoples independence and communication skills. We hold visiting academic status with Manchester Metropolitan University and are the proud owners of the Mike Barnes innovation award for innovative practice in the field of ABI.
