About Attrans International Transport Group
Attrans Ltd. was founded by Philip Attard in 1976 as an international trailer operator. Since then, Attrans has seen a steady growth in its share of the Maltese transport market. This required continuous investment and has resulted in a top of the line operation including both box trailers and tilt trailers and the use of Euro 4 and 5 tractor units as Attrans is pro-active to both legislation and environment. Attrans has established a reliable Europe-wide agent's network over the past few years. Early 2009 an office was set up to act as a representative in the Benelux countries which resulted in the founding of Attrans BV in Alblasserdam, The Netherlands. The office also acts both as a liaison office for Malta-related shipments to and from Northwestern Europe, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe as well as an independant forwarding agent to and from virtually all countries in Europe with frequent (daily/weekly ) deprtures to Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey and several Eastern european and Central Asian destinations. Taking care of any worldwide airfreight and seafreight (LCL/FCL) shipments is not a problem either. Its nearby warehouse is able to handle all kinds of cargo including hazardous materials. In 2012 a support hub and office just outside the port of Genova (Italy) was established in order to control local trailer activities and provide several logistical services. In 2013 separate Dutch office "Attrans North Africa"was set up in order to focus primarily on the Northafrican markets. The company can cater for any need in transport solutions to markets such as Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Tunisia. A full spectrum of facilities can be provided, such as local agents that take care of customs formalities and local collections/deliveries.
