Atomic Ventures, Inc. (Atomic) is Utah’s premier “Venture-Builder”. Atomic is the partnership of two of Utah’s most successful entrepreneurs, Ralph Yarro and Michael Wolfgramm, who have each been building global companies for over 25 years. Atomic follows a strict company building, operating, and funding model that has been developed, refined, and proven within their other funds: The Canopy Group, Alta Ventures, and ThinkAtomic. Atomic believes that the future and success of high tech venturing will be through this venture-building model. Atomic’s venture-building model abandons traditional startup VCs, angel investors, incubators and accelerators models and deal flow generation, preferring to develop business ideas from within their own network of resources and assign internal teams to develop them. With deep roots in Utah and Mexico, our circles of influence and networks are large and many, including tech-commercialization offices and engineering user groups. Atomic believes that this model reduces risk, increases return, maximizes performance, and limits the drama of management and venturing. Atomic’s goal is to create a perpetual venture-building investment vehicle for a select group of investors and the Atomic team.
