About Atus BV

Atus designs and sells Personal Security systems in a business to business professional environment, to end-users like prisons, hospitals, caring-homes, industry, hospitals etc. Whenever personnel is in a potentially dangerous situation, Atus provides solutions to alert colleagues and to prevent incidents from becoming disasters. Atus’ origins were founded in the Personal Security Product division of the BOSCH group. Its rich history goes back to the 1960’s when Philips started an on-site paging business in Breda, the Netherlands, a business that in 2002 was acquired by BOSCH. On September 1st 2010 Atus BV acquired the Personal Security division including all personell, and it became an independent company focusing on critical communication solutions. On January 1st, 2018, all Sales, Marketing and production activities for Atus’ paging and DECT products, as well as the Atus logo and brandname, were transferred to International Pager Services BV. IPS is a Dutch company specialized in repair- and manufacturing services for paging systems and DECT mobiles.
