About Auckland University Mandarin Debating Society
The University of Auckland Mandarin Debate Association (AUMDS) is a student association that promotes Mandarin debating and the Art of Speech among students. Our debating team was formally established in 2019. Our notion was to create an environment allowing Chinese international students to enjoy debating, moreover, creating opportunities for those who are more ambitious. Our main club activity is the “Debate Planet” that we run weekly, where members can sign up to debate or be spectators. 奥大华语辩论社华语辩论队于2019年正式成立，携奥大华语辩论社推广海外辩论活动。作为新西兰唯一的一支高校华语辩论队，我们的初衷是为了满足华人学生体验辩论的需求，并且积极参与海内外各项辩论比赛，旨在享受辩论所带来的思考和快乐，获得自我的提升。希望能和众多学校交流学习，期待与底蕴丰厚的辩论强队切磋过招，一同成长。
