About Audio Epics

Audio Epics is a small Belgian company. We are specialized in audio related services such as: voice-over, audio recording, audio editing, screencasting, audio narration and written narration. Besides this, we create our own audio dramas, especially in the fantasy genre. In doing this we want to hold to the great tradition of fantasy stories like Tolkien's in entertainment while bringing back the almost forgotten medium of audio drama. Our two main audio dramas so far have won Ogle Awards. Witch Hunter (+240 min.) won the Honourable Mention 2010 and The Will of the Woods (+150 min.) won the Gold Ogle Award 2012. Our extended edition of Witch Hunter (+780 min.) was nominated for the Parsec Awards in two categories in 2016. We are in love with the medium and value a fairy-tale like charm and imagination. We intend to combine this with a sense of quality and spectacle that is distinctly modern. In our former projects, we have noticed that not all listeners are ready for pure audio drama, which often does away with a narrator to guide the imagination. In our most recent projects we try to bridge the gap between audio drama and audiobooks, creating dramatized audiobooks with a narrator, sound effects, at least one male and one female voice and original music. We found out that, for a lot of listeners, this hybrid approach made the story more clear and more enjoyable. As such, they can enjoy an epic audio story in a relaxed and accessible way. We hope it invokes the best listening experience for our fans, which is what's most important to us. Hence our tagline: 'An eye for the listener'.
