About AUP Green
AUP Green was founded in Fall 2013 by students dedicated to creating efficient campus recycling and fostering "Green" activities at the American University of Paris. The club intends to be a forum where students with environmental curiosity can congregate, share knowledge, and plan action regarding sustainability and the natural world. Since Fall 2015, the focus of AUP Green has been on the local community, i.e. the American University of Paris as well as Paris as a whole. We strive to inspire students to inhabit a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly lifestyle. We spread awareness on current environmental issues such as the agricultural business and its impacts on the environment as well as identify and inform students of local events directed at environmentally friendly practices.
