About Aura FX Studios

Aura FX is a visual effects team (based in NYC, with operations in Atlanta) that provides virtual art department services for previz & postviz. We offer a full stack of scan-to-asset capabilities, from LIDAR & photogrammetry capture, plate unit services, prop scanning, and post-processing of capture data. With our team of in-house artists and CG pipeline we are able to take asset capture significantly further than traditional scanning companies – creating production-ready environment, prop & character assets, as well as furnishing plates and other 2.5D elements for comp. Because of our team’s diverse background in film production, CG & compositing we are able to service many stages of the VFX process: from pre-production and scouting, through principal photography, and with vendors in post. We can also offer crewing, location support and additional VFX supervision when needed. Our goal is to simplify things for producers & supervisors with this holistic approach to asset creation.
