Supriya Kapoor is the founder of Aurelius and a seasoned investment compliance professional with approximately 30 years of financial services experience (approx. 25 years in investment compliance). Her knowledge and experience extend across domestic and international jurisdictions, asset classes, investor types, public and private products and multiple registration categories at both small, privately owned and large multinational public entities. Supriya is a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, and has deep experience in corporate governance, risk and conflicts management and operational effectiveness. In addition to the CCO and compliance roles she has held, she has been a partner of a registered firm, been a member of sr. executive management teams; functioned as CAMLO and CPO; managed IRCs (manager perspective) of several funds; has and currently serves on IRCs; and is Treasurer of 3-2-1 Empower Ltd (a charitable organization helping women in India who are victims of exploitation and trafficking). Finally, Supriya is a member of several industry organizations/regulatory panels, co-chairs the AIMA Legal and Finance Committee, previously chaired the PMAC P&SC, and is a sought-out speaker.
