We created Austin Emergency Centers (AEC) to bring concierge-level, quality emergency care to the local community. Our patients enjoy the ambiance and aesthetics of a high-end private practice, followed by an evaluation by an experienced, emergency room physician, within minutes of entry to our facilities. We offer fast, concierge-level care, when minutes count. All testing is done quickly, without the delays associated with traditional, hospital-based emergency departments. In contrast to an urgent care clinic, AEC is a freestanding emergency room. Our facilities use the state-of-the-art equipment and technology of a modern hospital emergency room, including CT scans, bedside emergency ultrasound, digital radiology, and a full clinical laboratory ─ all in the comfort of an upscale clinical environment, without the typical inconveniences associated with a hospital-based setting. In addition to our board-certified emergency room physicians, our centers are staffed with experienced emergency room nurses, CT and X-ray technicians, EMT technicians, and a courteous front office staff. For your convenience, we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. At AEC, you have the benefit of being evaluated and treated with state-of-the-art medical technology. We have onsite CT scans, digital X-ray technology, and ultrasound. And the best part is, your results are read by radiologists within minutes. You are in good hands at AEC. Our onsite laboratory can process complete blood counts, electrolyte/metabolic panels, urinalysis, cardiac enzymes, and other emergency department tests. Additionally, we are experienced in electrocardiogram testing and analysis.
