About Australia India Fellowship
The Australia India Fellowship is a not-for-profit platform dedicated to nurturing social entrepreneurship, community action, and cultural exchange between Australia and India. We exist to support initiatives that empower individuals and communities to tackle systemic issues through bold ideas, cross-cultural collaboration, and grassroots impact. At the heart of our mission is the belief that real change happens when people from different backgrounds come together with a shared sense of purpose. Whether through youth-led programs, diaspora engagement, or large-scale initiatives that raise awareness and funds for social justice causes, we aim to bridge two vibrant nations through meaningful action. Our flagship project, The One India Run, is a 5000km ultra-run across India led by 22-year-old Australian runner Om Satija. It is more than a physical challenge - it is a journey of unity, self-transformation, and a call to break the cycle of discrimination by supporting underprivileged children affected by leprosy through our partner organisation, Udayan Kolkata. Join us as we build a fellowship of change-makers who believe that courage, compassion, and collaboration can cross any border.
