We aim to -Create opportunities for an exchange of culture. -Cultivate the development of Australian artists and their work. -Connect Australians living in New York. The Australian Theatre Festival NYC works year round to showcase Australian stories and artists in NYC. Each year they produce a week-long Australian performing arts festival, a New Play Award and a Fundraising Gala. Now in it’s sixth year, Aus Fest has employed hundreds of Australian artists in New York and is the only festival presenting Australian performing arts in the United States. The Australian Theatre Festival NYC was founded by Mark Barford, Connor Delves & Jillian Geurts in 2019.
