The Austrian Club London: a fusion of culture & spirit like nowhere else. Ever since its establishment in 1984 in association with the Austrian Embassy, the Austrian Club London has been instrumental in promoting the “Austrian Spirit” amongst Austrian expats and Londoners alike. Our values are centred around the creation of a common ground for Austrians and friends of Austria to socialise, enjoy events with a typically Austrian flair. We aim to assist each other in all walks of life, whether it is with advice, career guidance, business referrals, help with accommodation or on where to find the perfect ingredients for a special Austrian delicacy. Our well established place among Austrians in London is reflected in our associations with the Austrian Embassy, the Cultural Forum, the Trade Commission and other Austrian organisations in the UK, with whom we continue to organise many successful joint events. Our committee is continuously working hard to provide a variety of events, networking evenings, outings and functions to suit all our members’ tastes and to convince non-members and friends of Austria to join our Club and to stay with us for years to come. It is our objective to make the Austrian Club London attractive to all generations. Not only are we bringing a piece of “Heimat” to Austrians abroad but are also giving friends of Austria the unique opportunity to experience the warmth of Austrian hospitality, to learn appreciating “the Austrian ways” and by doing so, gain new friends, acquire new business and simply have fun.
