Founded in 2007, Austro Engine develops and produces state-of-the-art rotary and piston engines (operated with diesel and kerosine) for general aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). As a certified production and design organization (EASA and ACG) our company is your reliable partner for development, certification and production of aviation engines. Outstanding skills from development to production, also in the area of electronics and electrics extend the portfolio of Austro Engine GmbH. The range of engine products covers a power range from 50 to 450 hp and the company location with a production area of 7600m² is subject to the most stringent quality and safety standards. The combination of development and production in one location as well as our state-of-the-art test facility and a dedicated aircraft test fleet makes Austro Engine your leading partner in aviation. Our latest milestones: o delivery of the 1,000th engine by December 2014 o certification of the AE330 engine with 180hp in April 2015 o TBO Extension of AE 300 to 1,800 hours in April 2015 o worldwide accumulation of more than three quarters of a million flying hours by beginning of 2016
