Several therapist received additional training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapy that helps many people find relief from stress, is currently practiced in the military for our war veterans with PTSD and is used to alleviate a multitude of mental health issues. This healing happens by getting to the root cause, using unconditional positive regard, resolving negative core beliefs and replacing with healthier thinking patterns. Another therapy modality that AHC incorporates in practice is Neurofeedback, also called EEG biofeedback or neurotherapy, which is a research proven way to help you improve your brain function through intensive brain training exercises. Neurofeedback is an evidence based researched practice that will decrease anxiety, depression, addictions and multiple cognitive and brain functioning issues and increase peak performance.
