About Authentic Life Counseling

Whether you are considering therapy for the first time, returning to address new challenges, or looking for a change, I commend you. Advocating for yourself and prioritizing wellness takes strength and courage. Regardless of where you are in your life’s story and how you feel now, therapy provides the tools necessary to find clarity and transform. I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with adults to address general mental health concerns, with a special focus on minority populations. An additional special focus is helping men tackle issues of masculinity, cultural identity, relationships, and values. It is my goal to help individuals gain an understanding and acceptance of themselves, using a culturally sensitive therapeutic approach. I value and strive to make genuine connections with my clients. During our sessions, you will feel accepted for who you are, where you are, and where you want to go. You should expect to experience unconditional positive regard, empathy, and care.
