Authentic Myanmar is a travel agency and a curator of bespoke journeys based in Yangon and Paris. We are rooted in a century-long legacy of cultural exchange, intellectual diplomacy, and heritage-driven purpose. In 2018, Authentic Myanmar was proud to be distinguished among the top 3 travel agencies in the country, awarded by the Ministry of Tourism of Myanmar. Founded in 2011 by Thatoe Thuzaraung, Authentic Myanmar became the first Burmese-owned travel agency to be established in France. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in tourism and global hospitality, we are committed to sharing Myanmar’s heritage with the world through its people, its artisans, and its landscapes. Pioneering in responsible and ethical tourism, Authentic Myanmar specializes in the bespoke curation of incentive tours, honeymoon and MICE tourism for an international clientele. Since our inception, we have had the privilege of welcoming over 2,000 travelers from 16 nationalities, each seeking meaningful, culturally rich journeys. Moreover , Authentic Myanmar has contributed to the creation of over 10 000 jobs across Myanmar and maintains strong partnerships with esteemed l agencies throughout Europe, Canada and Asia. Authentic Myanmar is also engaged in philanthropic efforts through our foundation which supports access to education for Burmese children. As part of this mission, we have proudly supported the construction of three schools across the country with the goal to foster opportunity and empower the next generation of thinkers in Myanmar.
