Enrollment Open for Our Community-Based Day Program – DD Waiver & Private Pay We are now accepting applications on a rolling basis for our year-round day program serving adults 18+ with developmental disabilities. Our program accepts both private pay and the DD Waiver and is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) as a Community Coach provider. Autism Community Alliance (ACA) provides 1:1 support tailored to each participant’s unique sensory, communication, and behavioral needs. Our Community Coaching services are designed to reduce barriers to meaningful community engagement and promote the development of functional life skills in real-world settings. Each day at ACA includes structured outings such as community walks, shopping trips, and visits to local parks, libraries, or community centers. Participants also engage in daily hands-on activities like cooking and arts and crafts—fostering independence, confidence, and joy through meaningful experiences. For continuity of care, ACA can hire and train a participant’s existing personal attendant or pair them with a trained Community Coach from our team.
