About Autism Living Leisure & Education Nurturing
Autism Living Leisure & Education Nurturing Inc. (A.L.L.E.N) was founded in 2010 by a group of special educators as a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization to fulfill the critical need of providing education and care for autistic and developmentally disabled children and adults, as well as to support their families. We hope to serve individuals with autism and developmental disabilities of all ages throughout Santa Clara County, and eventually the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We are a Certified Non-Public Agency with the California Department of Education (CDE), and are currently awaiting vendorization through the San Andres Regional Center (SARC). Our fundamental philosophy is that individualized programs should be designed to meet each client’s particular interests and learning styles. These dynamic programs will provide clients with both, opportunity and instructional support . Our goal is to also provide high, unmatched quality programs for individuals affected by autism . We especially hope to provide services for those individuals where behavioral issues make it difficult to be supported. We will provide these individuals with both, invaluable opportunities, and experiences that will positively affect the areas of knowledge expansion, skill acquisition, self-esteem, and personal growth.
