About Avatrial

Avatrial exists to save the lives of cancer patients by accelerating the global mission towards superior personalised treatments for every patient. We do this by generating data that will help us understand cancer better, to develop more effective therapies and to predict patient responses to treatment. In disease, Avatrial will routinely collect matched healthy tissue, cancer tissue and blood samples from patients undergoing surgery and perform state-of-the-art deep multi-omic characterisation of the samples. The data will be linked with regularly-updated clinical data for all patients. In health, Avatrial will crowdsource longitudinal socio-demographic, environmental, behavioural, physiological and multi-omic data across ages and races, and link these to data and samples from future clinical episodes of the donors. Avatrial will integrate and use state-of-the-art AI and Machine Learning analytical tools to transform our understanding of cancer, discover novel and early biomarkers and, through experimental validation, generate assets for commercialisation and clinical translation. Avatrial will generate a comprehensive and accredited reference dataset that can also be used for clinical decision making to enable delivery of true personalised therapy. Avatrial has obtained the expertise, infrastructure, regulatory approvals, contracts and logistic solutions to generate these data as a matter of routine and in a scalable manner.
