About Avem Quirks
Avem Quirks is an Australian company delivering end-to-end solutions in the supply and service of a comprehensive range of cooking, chilling, and display equipment to the Food Retail industry. We are also market leaders in the provision of vaccine refrigeration to the medical industry through our Medisafe Plus brand. Our company was originally established as The Australian Vending Company in 1980, supplying vending machines and equipment to hotels and petrol and convenience store customers. By 1990, as Avem Pty Ltd, we had several national supply agreements in place which amplified our growth and necessitated a move from our South Melbourne base to more substantial warehousing premises. It was also this year that we set up state offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, and established our national service footprint to meet our customers’ needs. In 2016, Avem acquired the Quirks Australia business from Coca-Cola Amatil to bring together over 90 years' experience in sales and service. Rebranded as Avem Quirks, we continue to deliver operational agility and an active understanding of the markets we serve. Avem Quirks is a family-owned company that is recognised for its capacity to innovate and commitment to adding value to its customers, suppliers, channel partners, community and, of course, our employees, who form the backbone of our business.
