Avenir Behavioral Health Center is a 32-bed Psychiatric Hospital with two separate 16-bed units for adults and older adults that need acute inpatient psychiatric or substance detox services. We are in-network with all AHCCCS insurance plans as well as most private insurances. Our smaller, boutique setting differentiates us from many larger hospitals, and we pride ourselves on providing the absolute highest level of care possible. From every patient's first experience with Avenir, in working with our Intake Department when they come to us, through the remainder of their stay here in their engagement with our dedicated Nurses, Social Workers, Recreational Therapists, and Technicians, they experience a setting where all departments work collectively to assist each and every patient we treat.
