We have expertise in: - Exploration (geophysical and geotechnical surveys, drilling); - Development/construction/installation (drilling, pipelines, platforms, plants, FPSOs); - Production/operation (gas processing plants/platforms, oil storage facilities, subsea facilities, pipelines); and - Decommissioning. Aventus offers the following environmental services: - Environmental impact assessment (EIA) in the Commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g., EPBC Referral, PER, EIS), including Environment Plans (EPs) and Oil Pollution Emergency Plans (OPEPs) for offshore activities; - EIA in the State/Territory jurisdictions (e.g., EMPs, SEO/EIR, REF, EES); - Compliance auditing; - Stakeholder consultation. - Project regulatory planning; - Workforce education; - Construction supervision; - Regulatory reporting; and - Due diligence assessment. Aventus has a particularly strong track record of obtaining project approvals from the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) for offshore activities. Strict and ever-changing environmental legislation, regulations, policies and guidelines make obtaining approvals and complying with conditions on the ground increasingly complex. Community expectations for high quality and transparent environmental management practices increasingly places the industry under the microscope.
