About Avenue Women's Center

Avenue Women’s Center is the first step for Chicagoland women facing unexpected pregnancy. It is our strong belief that women deserve respect, safety, and excellence of care as they take control of their health situations and their futures. Since 1981, we have been empowering women as they make their best pregnancy decisions. Our unique team of professionals sets us apart from other women’s health clinics. At Avenue, each team member is truly dedicated to the women we serve. We are devoted in our focus on providing the highest level of respectful, skilled, and compassionate care. We go beyond simply providing physical help to include other aspects of women’s holistic care. In our exit surveys, over 99% of our clients report feeling very satisfied with the services received, and they rate us as having the highest possible degree of “care and respect.” As a nonprofit, Avenue is able to provide several services at no cost, including pregnancy tests and private consultations. Consultations are scheduled one-on-one and are never rushed, allowing women to gain valuable information on pregnancy options, adoption, and abortion. It is important to us that each woman’s individual concerns are addressed during her consultation, and there is never pressure for a woman to rush her decisions. Avenue strives for a safe environment in which women are empowered to make their best decisions and move forward positively on their journeys. Avenue has six women’s health centers located throughout DuPage County: Darien, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn / Lombard, Naperville, West Chicago, and Wood Dale, Illinois.
