About Avery County Habitat for Humanity
Avery County Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization building homes in partnership with the community. Each year more than 300 individuals volunteer with ACHfH helping to increase the affordable housing stock in the county. To date 49 homes have been built (with 50, 51 & 52 under construction and 53 about to break ground in Jonas Ridge) and more than $5 million has been invested in the affordable housing market for low income families who purchase the homes with a no interest mortgage.
