AVES which has over 30 years old experience in international commodities and trade is active in the production and international trade of vegetable oil, biodiesel production, vegetable oil storage, open-sea vessel loading and unloading platforms, and real estate. Aves which provides 35% of Turkish raw sunflower oil, produces 710 thousand tons of vegetable oil, meal and biodiesel annually with a daily crushing capacity of 1500 tons in their facilities in Mersin on 120 decares of land which is Turkey’s biggest fully-integrated oil-seed processing facility. With the sunflower oil which bears the brand SAFYA for which AVES provides the guarantee of the same quality in the first and one millionth bottle, the company is expanding its share in the local and international market each day. AVES which is capable of all production processes from the farm to the end consumer is also the owner of the first and only edible sunflower oil factory in Erbil, Northern Iraq. Erbil edible sunflower oil factory has 600 ton/day filling and 200 ton/day refined capacity. Owning the nearest warehouse and meal handling facilities to the Habur Border Gate in Silopi increases the power of AVES in the Middle Eastern market. Reaching out from Mersin to the world AVES is also the owner of Savka the only open sea vessel loading and unloading platform in Turkey. One of the characteristics which makes this platform unique is its capacity to transfer the petroleum and vegetable oil in land to the Aves petroleum and vegetable oil storage facilities with capacity of 220.000 m3 via a 5-km pipeline under the sea. Aves which has an investment of 72.000 m2 land right across the Mersin port is also one of the partners of Bomonti Park Shopping Mall in Istanbul. The goal of AVES which sees its quality as its biggest guarantee is to be a global player. Aves which is headquartered in Mersin has trade and marketing companies located in Switzerland, Dubai and Russia.
