As a tutor himself, Co-founder Keith Rezendes wanted to create an innovative tutoring company that would be a win-win situation for tutors and students: tutors could earn more and do more, and students could easily find the best tutors nationwide. He saw a need for a company that would go above and beyond for its tutors, providing free coaching, access to tutoring resources and exams, and multiple ways to grow. So he created a website where both tutors and students can post their profiles for free, tutors can communicate with students, as well as with other tutors for ease of referrals. The result is a complete social network designed to facilitate teaching and learning. Unique features of the site include: Q&A section where a student can post a question and a tutor can offer a solution with a detailed explanation with a link to the tutor's profile A place for tutors to publish handouts and books and sell them to students "Anytime" tutoring for students with last-minute requests who need late-night help on assignments A blog to keep students and parents informed of important developments in academics and education
