AVK GUMMI manufactures very high quality rubber components for use in demanding applications. The drinking water sector, the food industry, the energy sector, the healthcare and chemical industries are primary segments. AVK GUMMI is among the world leaders in these areas. AVK GUMMI supplies high quality compounds approved for drinking water applications to the whole AVK Group and has developed a universal EPDM rubber quality that is drinking water approved worldwide. AVK GUMMI supplies all major customers in the food industry in Europe and is expanding its customer base quickly in China. Rubber production started back in 1955, and today the production is carried out with modern, high-tech and automated machinery. In 2001 AVK GUMMI commissioned one of the world’s most advanced, fully automatic rubber mixing plants. In 2012 the mixing plant is extended and mixing capacity is doubled. AVK GUMMI emphasizes on quality and environment. The quality, environment and working environment systems are certified in accordance with IATF16949/ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 respectively. These systems include 100% control of each rubber compound, full traceability with the help of charge number, SPC control, FMEA, zero defect production and an extraordinarily clean production environment making it possible to supply high quality rubber components and meeting the strongest demands of the industry on sealing materials.
