Avo acquires and develops apartment communities that provide convenience and affordability to renters in markets that have favorable supply and demand dynamics, major employers, and positive demographic trends. Avo seeks to minimize investment risk by maintaining a deep understanding of its target markets, performing upfront due diligence, sourcing and vetting best-in-class property managers, and creating quality projects built to last. Avo targets core-plus to opportunistic returns and focuses on both traditional and niche apartment concepts, including micro units and coliving (Avo has coliving assets in Los Angeles and NYC). Avo capitalizes each real estate investment with private and institutional investors alongside its own principal equity commitment. With capital backing from a family office, Avo is capitalized to invest in real estate assets through co-GP / sponsor and joint venture equity investments. Avo has earned the trust and commitment of its partners and investors through providing fully transparent, institutional-quality reporting. Avo’s team has extensive experience developing and acquiring multifamily (including developing ~1,400 apartment units in Texas managed by Greystar) and commercial real estate assets in select markets across the U.S.
