Avonvale Carpets is privately owned by hands-on partners Paul Ivory, James Gillmore and Anna-Louise Ivory. With over 70 years of combined experience – all of which has been in the flooring trade – there is little that they don’t know. However they do not have a “know it all” attitude. Learning the carpet industry from “the bottom up” in traditional department stores “Customer Service” is in their DNA and the highest priority. This solid grounding has been the basis of their commitment to their clients by means of their “Personal Guarantee.” Over many years they have built strong links directly with manufacturers and distributors – often visiting factories to keep up to speed – which has served to create relationships based on trust and respect. Avonvale Carpets is also a founder member of one of the country’s leading flooring buying groups. Together with over 110 other fully independent shop owners they offer ranges direct from the manufacturer at competitive prices. Although primarily operating within the domestic market Avonvale Carpets has considerable experience within the commercial sector as well. Avonvale Carpets rarely use sub-contract fitters opting to employ their own but on the occaisions they do use sub-contractors the same exacting standards are observed and delivered.
