About Awaken Consulting

Awaken Consulting evolved from a passion of working closely with individuals and teams, over many years and from multiple different perspectives. Working with leaders from small business to large organisations, who lead small to large teams, and working across public and private business has given me the breadth and depth of understanding for what makes a successful leader. Being a leader too, in many different settings, has also given me the opportunity to embody everything I’ve learnt … yes, mistakes and all. In my professional life, but also in life in general, what I’ve always been curious about is … what makes us the most authentic and empowered version of ourselves, for ourselves and for those we connect with. What I hope is, that by working together we can find this for you. Leadership Authenticity and Empowerment Working with individuals and teams in leadership has helped me to understand there are 4 main areas of inquiry that serve us as leaders: • how well do we know our self • what patterns have we developed in the way we relate with ourselves, others and the world • what helps us to lean into challenging times, or what holds us back • what is it about the systems that we work within that can help us thrive or survive Diving deep into understanding our self, our organisation, and our environment gives us the opportunity to grow with awareness our leadership authenticity, and in turn, leads to our empowerment. Vision At the heart of Awaken Consulting, by working together, I am to assist leaders and teams to: • grow their awareness • understand their self • unlock their potential, and • be authentic and empowered to serve self, others, and the broader community
