Established in 1985, Awning Works Inc. is a full service provider of Division 10 Sun Control Devices and Division 12 specialty products that offers CAD design, structural engineering, manufacturing and installation services throughout the USA. 2014 was a breakout growth year as we purchased and renovated our own building in Clearwater, Florida and consolidated our enterprise operations into one corporate building complete with a 2000 square foot showroom, office space, mezzanine conference area, manufacturing, and installation staging areas. We are a licensed Florida Class A General Contractor and insured to $4M with completed operations and professional liability coverage. Our 30 year history is founded on competitiveness, customer service and strong commitment to quality. In 1990 we designed a portable canopy trade named the SHOWOFF used by thousands of art exhibitors for weekend art shows. In 2003 we launched a web development company, Refueled, building and promoting client sites and recently introduced our own Patio Lane online store. In 2009 we launched a general contracting company, ABuilt Inc., to further support our operations and our clients in all construction services. In 2010 we began a consolidation of products within our portfolio and growth of new products to uniquely establish ourselves as a Hospitality Provider, adding retractable roofs and solar screen walls, window treatments, signage, furniture and patio shade products. We are an authorized dealer for Hunter Douglas and Springs Window Fashions (SWF), and became an authorized Watchfire® LED sign dealer. Most recently in 2013-14 we began partnering affiliations with KE Durasol as a Master Dealer for retractable awning products, Superior Shade to offer structural umbrellas, playground shelters and equipment and Signature Structures in offering larger tension canopies and buildings.
