The Ayurvedic Wellness Center is the home for the teaching and practices of Ayurveda in Southwest Michigan. We’re located near downtown Kalamazoo, in a sanctuary surrounded by the healing qualities of nature. who we serve We are committed to continue to learn and live into practices of inclusivity with respect to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, and socio-economic background. We understand access to healing and wellness work to be integral to the goals of social justice and activism of all kinds. apothecary We offer one of the only Ayurvedic Apothecaries in the midwest, where we create retail apothecary goods and custom herbal formulations for clients. Using whole herb powders, Ayurvedic practitioners create formulations that address doshic vitiation, specific organ stresses, and functional system imbalances. shop Our retail Apothecary Shop features our favorite Ayurvedic goods; including body care, herbal preparations, and pantry items. Come in and shop our favorite doshic massage oils, hand selected aromatherapy attars, small-batch herbal ghee, dinacharya supplies, organic lentils, spice blends, and herbal formulations for common ailments - amongst other Ayurvedic supplies. classes & events The Community Healing Space features weekly practices like meditation and yoga nidra, Ayurvedic education, and community healing sessions, as well as hosting like-minded events with community partners.
