A non profit rescue, rehabilitation, sanctuary and adoption center in Scottsdale, AZ primarily focused on the needs of captive bred and wild caught exotic birds perpetually involved in the matrix of the commercial and for-profit pet trade within the United States. Former breeding pairs and those that find themselves in abusive situations are among some of highest instances of surrender cases we provide lifelong devotion and care well into geriatrics and beyond as their health vs quality of life is the very first of priorities. Many that have or will become displaced, homeless or otherwise unwanted are also living in homes whereas the standards are not healthy and oftentimes become increasingly difficult and eventually an impossibility for even the most well intentioned people who have more heart than space, revenue or helping hands to meet just the most basic needs of their flock. We understand and are here to help you get to the best spot for your birds before it is too late. While we do handle extreme cases, many birds have been left to the care and responsibility of the rescue to match them with their next family when an owner has made arrangements by including our organization every step of the way when it comes to estate planning. Then, plenty of birds come to us as pets that have been in great homes but unexpected things may happen in life whereas circumstances have changed making it necessary to find a new family for your beloved pet.
