Helen Filipe is the owner and Executive Director of Azul Education Services. With over 25 years’ experience in career counselling, job coaching, and academic advising in post-secondary institutions, Helen is now sharing her knowledge and experience supporting students and families navigate through the transition from high school to postsecondary as well as career advancement. Azul Education has two divisions, Academic Advising, and Career Coaching. Through Academic Advising, Azul helps students prepare their applications for post-secondary, identifying scholarship opportunities, and any career exploration. Within Career Coaching, Azul supports job searchers with individual resume reviews, interview coaching, job search strategies support and online personal branding. Azul Education offers both individual appointments as well as a variety of free events for the community including “Post-Secondary Student Experience Panel”, “LinkedIn 101”, “How to Find Work” and online “Live” events. Helen has lived in South Mississauga for over 20 years and is an active volunteer with local organizations including The Compass Food Bank and Outreach Centre, and 100 Woman Who Care Mississauga Chapter.
