B-list International is built upon a remarkably simple concept, the idea that independent restaurants, bars and clubs have the ability to provide a much more personalized service to their customers, and that this service should include good beer. In the commercial restaurant trade, the accepted “a-list” is a wine list that is designed to encourage customers to select wines that go with the food they are eating and with the evening that they are enjoying. Our aim is to establish an accepted “b-list” within the industry, providing specialist beers that meet a range of culinary and atmospheric conditions, and provide the customer with a much wider choice, and often a new experience. We stock a wide range of beers from regions around the world, and provide them as part of a beer list to smaller independent licensed outlets, in quantities that are easy to store and sell without having to hold significant stocks. We buy in quantities that allow us to guarantee a fair price to outlets. We also provide a a customised service for our clients, providing b-lists that go with their food and their overall character. We can even include the beers that they already stock. We also allow flexibility to periodically change a b-list so the beers can be as flexible or as seasonal as a customers’ menu.
