About Back Beach Rd

Back Beach Rd is an Aussie label that provides multi-functional, sustainable, stylish and comfortable clothing for swim active living. Our purpose is to combine swimwear and active wear, creating a new genre of fashion: swimactive wear™. If we find a problem, we want to fix it. Our initial goal was to design board shorts for boys and men that would help solve the problem of chafe at the beach (or general uncomfortableness 'down there'). Unhappy with the amount of plastic found in our oceans, it was important to us that our board shorts were made using recycled plastic bottles. Beyond board shorts, we expanded into Aussie Made rashies, with a focus on neon colours to help solve the problem of losing sight of your kids at the beach. We offer girls an alternative to 'traditional swimwear' and combine it with active wear. We pride ourselves on bright colours and innovative ideas and design, as a reminder to embrace uniqueness, be bold and stand out from the crowd. We want you to feel confident and be comfortable. We are passionate about exercising our voice to encourage everyone to walk the Bright, Bold Rd (BBR).
