About Back to Active Osteopathy
Back to Active is an integrated health and sports injury clinic specialising in back care, sports injury and musculoskeletal pain treatments. We provide a wide range of effective treatments to help manage back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, sports injuries, arthritic pain, foot and ankle pain, knee pain, headaches and postural issues as well as many others Richard Reed is BSc qualified in Osteopathic Medicine and is fully registered with the General Council of Osteopathy. He has a level 3 diploma in sports massage and has qualifications in Kinesio taping and medical acupuncture. Faraz Sethi has been a physiotherapist for 17 years and has worked in the UK, Azerbaijan, USA and the UAE in both private and sporting sectors. He has been fortunate enough to help and treat a vast array of professional footballers and also members of the UAE royal family. Faraz follows a three pronged approach to his management of musculoskeletal problems which involve manual therapy (if indicated), exercise rehab and load management and finally, patient education. Gemma McAllister has been a beauty therapist for over 18 years, but her approach to therapy has evolved and is now much more holistic in nature. She focuses on treating each client according to their specific needs and tailors her treatments to ensure that they feel the way they want to feel after the therapy. Gemma employs a variety of techniques in her treatments, such as Swedish massage, sports massage, reflexology and the Emmett technique. Testimonial from Julie Davies: "I took my 14 year old son to Richard for a sports massage as he had an ongoing problem with his shoulder. The real benefit was that he was able to make osteopathic adjustments that he thought necessary. His shoulder is much improved and he derived so much benefit from the massage that I made an appointment for myself."
