About Back2back Hardware Installation
Founded by Josh Fatu, Back2Back are door hardware installation specialists with over 35 years’ experience. From a family of door hardware installers, Josh saw a need in the market for installers that could not only expertly install door hardware but also had the communication skills to flexibly work with project managers, suppliers and owners to get jobs finished on time. Being New Zealand owned and operated and coming from a family that originally immigrated from Samoa, from an early age Josh understood what hard work was, working beside his brothers and sisters orchard picking. When building Back2Back it was important to Josh to provide a platform built on family values but where young New Zealanders could achieve trade skills. Since inception Back2Back has built a good mix of experience and youth and originally being Auckland based, has now branched out into the Bay of Plenty region. Notable achievements to date have been delivery of iconic building sites like Park Hyatt Auckland, Pacifica Apartments, Vocoe Apartments, Commercial Bay Tower, AUT, Auckland Museum to name a few.
