About Backcountry Medical Training
Backcountry Medical Training has been providing Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder classes for the Puget Sound Region and Washington State under the umbrella of CPR Seattle since 2005. We teach both open-enrollment public classes and private/custom classes to meet your unique needs. If you need wilderness or remote/austere medicine training for yourself or your organization, you've come to the right place. Our instructors have deep experience in emergency medicine, outdoor recreation and guiding, and search and rescue. We follow the most up-to-date research and clinical practice guidelines to ensure that students leave with the latest knowledge and skills.
