We were formerly known as Badger Transformer Co., Inc. based in Milwaukee. In 2003 we acquired Mag-Con Engineering, and then purchased Sub-Tronics and Nicollet Technologies in 2009. Badger acquired Transformers Inc. in early 2010. Tranex located in Colorado Springs, CO was acquired in 2012. The company’s factories are in Milwaukee, WI, Lino Lakes, MN and Colorado Springs, CO. We have sold to customers in military, industrial automation, process control, medical, mining, renewable energy, telecommunications, material handling, oil field and a variety of other industries. Our custom engineering capabilities and specialty magnetic product lines serve both large and small OEM customers across the United States and Canada. We also produce custom single phase and three phase transformers up to 100kVA, auto-transformers, step-down/step-up transformers, PCB board mounted transformers, bobbin transformers, toroid transformers, custom magnet coils, magnifying and de-magnifying coils, antenna coils, brake coils, injector coils, solenoids, inductors, chokes, filters, reactors, battery chargers, switching power supplies, and speed sensors.
