Downsizing services help with the process of reducing and re-homing excess items in your home to facilitate moving into a smaller living space. We help with organizing, downsizing belongings, arranging shipments, recommending furniture placement to make the most of your new floor plan, and even unpacking and setting up your new home. Additionally, we help with finding appropriate living accommodations based on budget, care needs, personal preferences and more. This can include, but is not limited to, help with: Taking stock: Make a detailed inventory of what you own Consider your new lifestyle: Think about how you'll live in your new space Decide what to take to your new home: Set up your new home with the items to make it feel like that way Get organized: Make groupings for items to keep, sell, donate, or take with you. Get connected: Meet a great, local Realtor, antique dealer and other providers who can help you get full value for your home and belongings. Plan for problem areas: Anticipate any challenges you might face Package: Pack up everything for moving Moving: Transportation of everything to your new home, or the appropriate location for sale, donation, etc. Unpacking and set up: Help with getting everything in the right place in your new home. Clean up and out: Disposal of all packaging materials at your new home, and anything left at your old home.
