Welcome to Bagel Supreme, our family-run bagel shops located in northern New Jersey with a taste of tradition and a touch of home. Since our inception in Brooklyn back in the early '90s, we've expanded with heart and passion, crafting spaces where community and quality meet. In his 20's, the owner Mohanna Harfouche, came to America with no money and a heart full of dreams. In 1991 he partnered with a local bagel shop in Washington Township but by 1992, he decided he wanted to make a name for himself. This led him to opening his first bagel shop - solo - in Brooklyn NY. There he learned how to perfect the art of bagel making. It wasn't long until his brother Nader joined him in 1993 and they expanded - resulting in them opening a location in Bayonne NJ, which Nader still runs to this day. In 1994, the Rutherford location was built and Olga Ospina, joined the team and took over that location. She decorated it AND managed it so beautifully, it is known as one of the most welcoming bagel shops we have to this day. In 2004, he opened Clark Bagels and in 2005 he opened the Colonia location. These locations are where his sons work alongside his managers to learn the family business. You are likely to find multiple Bagel Supreme locations all over New Jersey as the entire family has opened their own locations - each with their own style but the craft remains intact.
