Bahrain Labour Market Regulatory Authority A Government Regulatory body dedicated to reforming and regulating the Labour Market in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Established in 2006 by Law through Decree No 19 for the year 2006, the Authority is authorized to regulate work permits, licensing recruitment (manpower) agencies, employment offices and foreign business proprietors working in the kingdom of Bahrain. Some of the LMRA’s flagship programs are the Expat workers Protection and Grievance Department, Labour Registration Project, the Wage Protection System.
