Bair’s Specialty Foods came about as a necessity to get fine food products distributed throughout the state of Ohio and not cost retailers an arm and a leg to get them. We found that most of the large food distribution companies around the state were dictating to the retailers (their customers) as to what products they were going to bring in, how much they were going to get and at what price they were going to be charged, whether they liked it or not. The “big” companies have lost touch with what got them big in the first place. We are the small guys but not the inexperienced guys.
