About Balanced Structures
We are a new structural engineering consultancy, led by an experienced structural engineer looking to bring his wide range of expertise of large scale commercial work to domestic and smaller scale projects. Having worked on some of the most high-profile and award winning engineering projects over the past 15 years in London and across the UK and worked at the world leading structural engineering consultancies; WSP, Robert Bird and as a Design Director at AKT II, Paul Hutter wants to share the knowledge he gained to offer a unique and experienced view on smaller scale projects. He is looking to develop an integrated architectural and structural solution on small scale projects, based on innovative ideas and collaborative working. He is also passionate about ensuring all his projects balance his environmental aspirations with the client’s needs. Some of his previous projects include 30 Grosvenor Square (the former American Embassy) South Bank Tower, HyLo (Finsbury Tower), Sainsbury Laboratory, Dubai Creek Footbridge, Lincoln St Marks.
